Match two lists. See what doesn't add up.

Your data stays on this device. Files and pasted rows are processed in your browser and are never uploaded. Lists are remembered in this browser only, until you clear them.

Matching rules

How the matching works
  1. Rows are paired by the Reference column (after the clean-up options above). Repeated references are added up, or paired in order if you turn that off.
  2. A pair is Matched when the two amounts are within your tolerance, otherwise Amount differs and the gap is shown.
  3. References found in only one list become Only in that list. A reference used more than once is flagged repeated so double payments stand out.
  4. If enabled, leftover rows are paired when the amounts agree and the dates are within the window. These show as Matched on amount & date so you can confirm them.
  5. Rows whose amount cannot be read are listed under Check data and left out of the totals.

Tip: copy cells straight from Excel or Google Sheets and paste them in, including the header row. Excel files (.xlsx) need to be saved as CSV first. The difference column is first list − second list.
